| This area of my site
features an assortment of free Macrame patterns. I’ve
included step-by-step instructions for creating unique handmade
apparel, fashion accessories, and home décor. I will
be adding more patterns on a regular basis, so please return
often. This page was revised in January, 2010, to make it easier to navigate.
When you’re ready to begin, click on the name
or image of each pattern, and a new page
will come up. Here you will find instructions, tips, and
photos of each item featured. Within the instructions
you will find a description of each item, the type of cord
I recommend, and any special supplies necessary. I’ve
also added links to the decorative knots used in the pattern,
so you can study the knots and techniques ahead of time,
if necessary.

Below is the current list of free Macrame patterns
for you to use and enjoy. Feel free to print them if you prefer
to follow the instructions on paper. Also, if you wish to personalize, change them
for your own use as needed.
Here is the key to understanding the symbols on the upper corners of the small images: |

- E = Easy, which is suitable for Beginners
- M = Moderate, which requires some Experience
- A = Advanced, which is not suitable for Beginners
- TC = Time Consuming
- LM = Requires a Large Amount of Material (Over 500 yards)
